| | | | | | | | SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of staff to authorize the execution of a purchase order with Ray O'Herron, Inc. for the purchase of 21 short-barreled rifles and accessories. |

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: The Decatur Police Department Emergency Response Team (ERT) has identified the need and value of purchasing short-barreled rifles for use by the Decatur Police Department Emergency Response Team. This purchase will allow for a weapons system that is universal for all ERT members. This also allows for consistency in training and use, and universal equipment knowledge by the team members. |
