| | | | | | | | | SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of this Resolution authorizing an agreement with Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA) to accept this grant to be used for 2020 Census activities. |

| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: Staff was approached and informed about this grant opportunity by Crossing Healthcare. We submitted for inclusion in the grant, offering to assist in activities in the City of Decatur. We were subsequently notified of this grant amount, with an opportunity to increase the amount of funds awarded at a future date. |

| | | | | | | | | POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: No known objections to accepting this grant. |

| | | | | | | | | BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: This grant will provide $25,000 to supplement the $15,000 the City has budgeted for 2020 Census awareness and engagement. There are many other groups in Macon that will also be spending resources on 2020 census activities in addition to the City to insure a complete and accurate count. |
