SUBJECT:  Ordinance Appropriating Additional Monies for the Purpose of Defraying the Expenses for Certain Funds of the City of Decatur, Illinois for the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2019.
 
SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION:  City Administration recommends City Council approval of the attached Ordinance. 
BACKGROUND:  Because the city has recently adopted the Budget Ordinance method, in the future, staff will "reconcile" over and under expenditures in the budget rather than seek approval for additional appropriations. The proposed additional appropriations in the proposed ordinance for FY 2019 derive additional funds from existing fund balances, and they do not require General Fund subsidies.
